🐕🐕Foster Home Needed Please
Ivar is 3 years old and intact. We will not place him in any home, that has intact females.
Ivar needs help from rescue due to a considerable change in his owners circumstances.
Though Ivar is 3 years old, he hasn’t quite got that memo 🙈. He’s an excitable lad and hasn’t perhaps learnt how to calm when excited. He is a lively lad. A little like Tigger!. He can jump a considerable height in the air when excited, therefore garden security and not being left alone in the garden, is an absolute must.
Ivar has a high prey drive, therefore no small furries, including cats.
Ivar has not lived with children. Given his very excitable nature currently, he will need a foster home with children of 14 years plus(if there are children in the foster home).
Ivar absolutely loves to play in water and is a lovely boy overall. He does need a very active foster home and consistent boundaries to help him understand calm is also good!
He does currently live with another dog and we would have no reason to believe he wouldn’t live with other Huskies. However, he does get very excited on seeing other dogs and needs to learn play boundaries.

Ivar will need to be neutered whilst in foster care. SHWA will meet those costs. Support during the foster period, will be provided by the coordinator for your area.
