This handsome young bi-eyed boy is available to adopt. He is ready to invite applications for the important position of: forever family!
Nerak is a very typical 18 month old husky. He would be best suited to experienced owners, who just love huskies to be true huskies!
He can be vocal at times, for example when his harness comes out. He is bouncy and excitable, with unreserved joie de vivre. So for that reason, we would suggest a home with teenagers upwards, if there are any children.
Nerak enjoys being active, he is currently walked twice daily. He does pull strongly and has a high prey drive regards any small furry creatures. Otherwise, he is quite chilled, fairly well behaved at home. If you can forgive a bit of counter surfing or bin raiding! 🤭He’s content to lie about between walks, or to watch the world go by, through the front room window.
Other favourite things include rabbit ear treats. He will sit nicely for a treat……Spending time in the garden helping out……going to the beach…..playing tug with rope toys and playing ‘fetch’ with tennis balls or footballs. 🎾🎾🎾
Nerak can be affectionate, he likes attention. He dislikes being left alone for what he considers is too long. A little trick that he has learned is, to sit right in front of you if you’re trying to look at a screen. He will even get right up on to your lap. He settles well at bedtime, in the evenings.
Although he is the only dog at his foster home, as he has lived with another husky before with no issues. Plus, as he is good with other dogs. We think he would be in good company with maybe one other laid back dog of similar age/up to around 7 years. He is neutered.
Nerak can be selective with strangers (new people). It can take him time to build up trust and feel safe.
Therefore, several meet and greets will be welcomed in his case
