Xena is a 22 months old super affectionate petite girl who is now looking for her adoptive home.
Xena didn’t have the best life before coming into SHWA and spent long periods alone and in a very small crate.
Xena has thrived in her foster home, loving the experiences of secure off lead runs, daily exercise and canine playmates.
Xena will need at least 1 similar sized canine friend who can match her zest for life. Her off switch can often malfunction 🤣 so a couple of playmates who can tag team with her would also be helpful 😂
Xena would benefit from an active lifestyle, and could potentially make a great running buddy. She is strong on the lead and inclined to pull, no matter how long she is walked.
Xena has become very attached to her foster mom, so leaving her alone will take sometime to build up to.
Xena is food motivated and fed alone, purely as she will eat her own food at speed and then want to help the resident dogs eat theirs.
She will happily share toys and shows no guarding.
Xena is fully housetrained and will settle in her crate and sleep through the night. Xena loves her walks but can become over excited when she sees dogs, jumping towards them and wanting to play. There is absolutely no malice at all, just a genuine desire to be everyone’s friend.
Xena has not lived with children in her foster home and purely due to her high energy we would advise children 10yrs plus.
Due to her prey drive, no small furries.
Xena is spayed and vaccinated and in foster in High Wycombe.
