Introducing the stunning Luna, who is now available for adoption. Luna will be 5 years old in January. She is vaccinated, spayed and has the most beautiful bi-eyes. Luna is quite literally a smooch monster 😍. She loves nothing better than a climb on your lap for cuddles!. Oh and don’t worry if your electric blanket isn’t working, Luna does a great impression of a spoon 🙈
Luna can be anxious, particularly around unknown men(especially tall chaps) and will look to the female human of the house, for reassurance. With time, she does come round. However, any potential adopter, would need to be understanding of this. Some loud noises can trouble her, but not excessively so. She does like to know where her humans are and does not like doors closed over, where she can’t see her humans. She did have notable separation anxiety on coming into foster care. However, time, reassurance and consistency have really helped. Currently Luna can be left around 4 hours, in the company of her canine foster companions. This did take time to build up. She will definitely need the company of other dogs(at least one other in the home) and has really learnt to be a husky in foster care! However, she did already know how to open doors 😬. Super security of your doors will be needed(locked at all times).
Luna is excitable when her humans come home or when going a walk. Secure off lead is an absolute favourite. Luna has encountered many dogs whilst in foster care and shows a beautiful nature toward all.
Luna is strong on the lead and her foster does use a walking belt, which is recommended ongoing.
Luna came into foster with an eye infection which has been fully investigated and treated. She can still have watery eyes at times and the vet has recommended Piriton to keep this at bay. However, the vet is satisfied there is no underlying issue. Luna is very accepting at the vets.
Luna’s foster, describes her as an “Absolute Sweetheart”. We think that anyone lucky enough to adopt Luna, will be welcoming a treasure into their home.
Luna is in foster in the West of Scotland. An adoption donation of £300 is requested.
Please speak to your area coordinator if you are interested in welcoming this lovely girl into your home. A passed home check is a neccessity 😊
