For those who have been following some of our foster dogs journey’s. We are now very proud to say our beautiful Simba aka the Goofball is up for adoption with thanks to his amazing foster family.
If you are the family who can put this boy to bed and give him a bedtime cuddle to settle him in, please read on. (His foster mum has commented that they wished they were joking)
They describe him as a gentle baby giant. Loveable and curious. If he needs a cuddle he will just come up and play dead on your lap.
As he is only a year old he still needs work on his lead walking and he can be excitable when his walks first started, he also needs work when greeting people as he can get excited and jump up. Simba also doesn’t like lots of shouting, so a quiter house would suit him better.
Simba has been living with his foster sister, who has been deciding if he is allowed toys and if not she is just taking them all away from him and he has shown no aggression towards her at all. He is playful but also calm and considerate towards her. We therefore believe he will thrive even more living with another dog.
Although he is described as a food motivated, typical Husky pup, he can also live with children.
