MAYA

MAYA

Double Whammy??

Introducing the very beautiful and petite, Maya. Maya is a 2 year old spayed girl, whom, her foster mum, says, “is the friendliest dog ever”. She’s a little pocket rocket with an abundance of character. Maya, quite literally, loves everything and everyone. It was felt by her previous home, that Maya had separation anxiety but this has not been the case within the foster home and she can be left 3-4 hours, providing she has other canine company. We would want Maya to be homed where there is at least one other dog. She is in foster with 3 other dogs, 1 of which, is also a foster dog. His name is Hades. Maya and Hades have, what their foster mum describes as “an amazing bond”. She does seem to prefer the company of male dogs, though there are no identified issues with females. Given her existing strong bond with HADES (see his separate post) and if there was the right home out there, which was willing to rehome them both together, this would be considered in this instance. Maya would suit a home where she has canine and human company and children would not be a concern. She does pull on walks but does settle. She is fed a grain free diet due to grains upsetting her stomach. She has not shown a significant prey drive but we would always advise means to fully separate any small furries as a precaution. Quite literally, Maya’s foster family can find no real fault with her at all. A little treasure of a ‘pocket rocket’. If you feel you are the correct home for Maya, or indeed, both Maya and Hades together (pronounced Haydeeze- Hades has a separate adoption post) then you will need to submit and adoption application and be home checked. An adoption fee of £200 will apply. Maya is in foster in the Newcastle area
